Final Magazine!
My front cover looks more like a real magazine front cover compared to previous drafts. This is because my pictures look more professional and I added another picture to it to look more professional to fill up space on the page. I also added shadowing effects to the words to make them look more interesting. When taking the main picture for the front cover, I ensured there was a shadow over one eye, to give the effect of an 'illuminati subliminal message'. This will intrigue readers and draw them towards my magazine, therefore they will be more likely to buy my magazine.
My contents page features different fonts of some articles to highlight them as important, this will attract the readers to these particular articles, maybe causing them to focus on articles they otherwise may have not read properly. I also variated the font slightly between the page numbers and article names, this makes it easier for the reader to read, therefore they will be able to find their articles quickly, making their experiencing reading my magazine more enjoyable.
I have divided my double page spread into two, on the left I have the title of the article and a big picture of my cover star, I did this because I noticed similar characteristics in other magazines that I had seen. I emulated characteristics from real magazines as I wanted my magazine to appear professional, this way readers will take my magazine more seriously. I also added shadowing effects on all the pictures in this double page spread, I did this because it made the pictures stand out from the white background and made the page more interesting to look at.
