Mcahon and Quinn

Today I learnt how to use McMahon and Quinn's codes and conventions table to decode a magazine.
The table includes:
-Technical Codes,
-Written Codes and
-Symbolic codes
The table allows you to analyse every aspect of the magazine cover which allows you to understand and explain why different pictures are used and why different fonts are used etc.
