I am creating a music magazine for my media studies coursework and I am carrying out some market research in the form of questionnaires to give me a better understanding of what people think makes a good  magazine.

I chose to do my questionnaire like this as I wanted to keep it short so people didn't get bored 

while answering it therefor people don't mind taking the time to answer the questions properly 

therefor I get reliable answers to base my magazine on. I ask people about who they are to get an idea of what sort of people are interested in what sort of things relating to my magazine and so I can identify what people from both inside and outside my target audience think of my magazine.
